BREAKING: Another COVID-19 corpse from Lagos intercepted in Benue

The caretaker chairman of Buruku LG, Hon Mrs Dooshima Esther Orlu, in the late hours of Monday, intercepted a suspected COVID-19 corpse coming in from Lagos. The corpse was intercepted around (11:23pm).

The people who were conveying the corpse from Lagos were heading to logo LG for the burial before their arrest.

Idoma Voice learnt that they were taken to the General Hospital Mortuary Buruku waiting to be handed over to the State COVID 19 committee team headed by the Deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abounu this morning.

The marine boys who made attempt to cross the corpse are to be quarantine along side with the People involved.
