An oil tanker ladened with petrol ( Premium Motor Spirit, PMS) has exploded 3 meters before the heart of Ugbokpo, the headquarters of Apa LGA, Benue State.
This is happening few weeks after two similar explosions in Oshigbudu, Agatu LGA, resulting to the death of 11 people and injury to 7 others.
Apa and Agatu both share border and both host the newly constructed federal road.
The cause of incessant explosion along the road are still unknown but analysts are of the opinion that it could be as a result of the narrowness and several sharp bending on the road.
As at the time of filing this report, the inferno is still raging on, no report of casualties and no reactions from the Federal Road Safety Commission or the police.
