The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, on Friday, escaped assassination after gunmen opened fire on his convoy.
The attack took place on Friday along Benin-Auchi Road, Edo State.
The cleric was said to have returned from a foreign trip and was heading to a destination in Edo State when the assailants attacked his convoy around the Auchi area of the state killing at least seven persons including three police officers.
