BREAKING: Bandits attack mosque in Buhari’s home state, kidnap 11 worshippers

Suspected bandits in the early hours of Monday launched a fresh attack on the Yakin Kwata community in Jibiya Local Government Area of Katsina state abducting 40 worshippers from a mosque.

A local source who pleaded anonymity confirmed to IDOMA VOICE that the 40 worshippers abducted include both male and female who were observing the night Ramadan prayer called, Tahajjud.

According to him, when the security operatives were alerted, they chased after the hoodlums and rescued 29 victims putting the total number of those in the hands of the bandits to be 11.

Although the police in the state is yet to confirm the incident, the source said there is presence of security operatives combing the forest for possible rescue.
