At least six persons were abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers in a community in Abuja, Eons reports.
It was gathered that attack occurred during the wee hours of Wednesday at Kuje Area Council of the FCT.
Reacting to the development, Mariam Yusuf, FCT police command spokesperson told Peoples Gazette by phone Wednesday that it was four people that were abducted during the attack.
“Yes the command is aware of the case. It was four people that were kidnapped please.”
“We have launched an operation to rescue the victims and apprehend the fleeing suspects.” Ms Yusuf said.
Residents living in Kuje, Kwali and Pegi community are faced with the challenges of kidnapping activities.
