BREAKING: Benue, Air Peace sign agreement on flight operations in Makurdi (PHOTO)

Benue State Government has signed agreement with Air Peace Limited to commence commercial flight operations in and out of the state.
According to terms of the agreement, Air Peace Limited is to provide the services on a three-flights-per-week basis.

The flight routes include Makurdi to Lagos and Makurdi to Abuja.

Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon.Terwase Orbunde and Commissioner for Works,Transport and Energy, Hon. Emmanuel Manger signed on behalf of the State Government while the Chief Operating Officer, Air Peace Limited Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide and the Corporate Communications Manager, Mr. Chris Iwara signed for the Airline.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the ceremony which took place at the Benue Governor’s Lodge in Abuja today, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Orbunde assured the company of the State Government’s commitment to the agreement.

The Operations Manager of Air Peace, Mrs. Olajide, on her part, promised that arrangements would be completed for flight operations to commence in Benue within one month.
