The Benue State government has confirmed the disappearance of a coronavirus patient from Isolation Centre in the state.
IDOMA VOICE earlier reported this.
The state government identified the patient as Masefan Ayilaga, a yam trader from Jortar.
The state said Ayilaga ran away from the quarantine center after his samples returned positive.
He contracted the virus from Kano, during one of his business trips.
The government said anybody who has been in contact with him should come forward for testing
