BREAKING: Benue lawmaker in desperate move to collect Dr. West Ujah’s ticket in SDP, candidate cries out

There is currently an underground battle to remove Adoyi West Ujah as the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Ogbadibo, Ado and Okpokwu federal constituency ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Ujah, a native of Orokam had floored his opponents to win the keenly-contested ticket of the party.

However, latest report has it that a lawmaker representing the constituency in the green chamber is currently making moves to collect the ticket from Ujah.

The lawmaker lost to Hon Fancis Otah-Agbo at the just concluded primaries of the PDP.

Sources said the lawmaker, through the influence of another popular politician, who recently pitched his tent with the SDP, had opened talks with Ujah to relinquish his ticket.

Confirming the development to our reporter, Ujah said, “Yes, rumour had it that someone is making offer to my party to collect my ticket. We don’t have the money or power but God, we are waiting patiently too.

“They should bear in mind that we can’t sell our mandate for anything. We are ready liberate our land and no political godfather can deprive our people what rightfully belongs to them.”
