The lawmaker representing Gwer East/Gwer West Federal Constituency in Benue State, Mark Gbillah has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the New Nigeria’s Peoples Party, NNPP.
Gbillah dumped the ruling PDP after losing a third term ticket to Emmanuel Ukaa
Gbillah who was gunning for the third term in office lost his position after polling 29 votes against the 54 scored by Mr Emmanuel Ukaa who emerged victoriously.
However, the PDP lawmaker picked the NNPP’s senatorial primary ticket to slug it out with the current governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom.
