Nigeria on Wednesday recorded three hundred and eighty-nine, 389, COVID-19 cases in the country.
Benue recorded two cases in the latest report.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed this in a tweet on its official Twitter page.
The agency said Lagos State for the first time recorded its highest cases in a day, 256.
Katsina State followed with 23 cases while Edo recorded 22.
With this development, Nigeria has 8733 confirmed cases of the disease.
