The official website of the Benue State Government has been suspended, IDOMA VOICE can report.
A visit by our reporter on the site, www.benuestate.gov.ng on Friday by 10:am, showed that the portal is currently offline.
A message of the site read thus; “Account Suspended. This Account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information.”
Recall that in November 2016, the governor and his deputy had launched the ‘already-existing’ website.
However, a who.is check by IDOMA VOICE on the website showed that data information about the site is currently unavailable.
Also, a check on the official Facebook page of the state government by IDOMA VOICE showed that no reason was given for the suspension of the website.
Meanwhile, the personal website of the state governor, https://samuelortom.com/ is currently online.
The domain, which was registered in 2014 would expire in May 2021, finding my IDOMA VOICE have shown.
