The Supreme Court rejected the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Titus Uba, in the Benue governorship election.
Both the governorship election petition tribunal and the court of appeal in Abuja had previously upheld the victory of Hyacinth Alia as the governor of Benue state.
Dissatisfied with these rulings, Titus Uba sought recourse at the apex court for a review.
