It was a black Sunday at Oshigbudu in Agatu LGA of Benue State after a petrol-laden tanker fell and went up in flames.
IDOMA VOICE reports that many persons have been burnt to death and several houses as well as vehicles destroyed by the ragging inferno.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the fully loaded tanker conveying fuel, fell at the Oshigbudu-Obagaji junction and spilled its content which caught fire, putting the Oshigbudu community in a terrible situation at the moment.
Vice chairman of the LGA, John Ikwulono, who confirmed the sad incident to IDOMA VOICE, said those who have contacts of fire service should please reach out to them to save the unfortunate situation.
Ikwulono said he had reached out to the Otukpo Local Government Chairman, Hon George Alli for assistance but the fire service vehicle which could be of help is currently faulty.
