BREAKING: Boko Haram, soldiers in gun battle at Kurmari, Borno

Nigerian Army and members of the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents are currently in gun battle at Kurmari, along Maiduguri in Magunmeri Local Government Area of Borno State.

Eons Intelligence reports that that the clash started around 12:10 pm on Sunday, 31st January 2021.

At the moment, number of casualties could not be ascertained as sources in the community say villagers are scampering for safety amid the rain bullet.

A resident told IDOMA VOICE that they are currently in the bush.

“Sir, we speak, we are in a bush. There is a heavy gunfire between the military and the insurgents.

“I saw some dead bodies before I left the house,” the source said.
