The 5th suspected coronavirus case in Benue State has been declared missing.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that that the man, a resident of Ukum was suspected of COVID-19 after recent travel and was asked to come to Makurdi.
A source said the man could not be evacuated from Ukum to Makurdi because he did not return from the local market he went to.
“He left Zaki Biam and came to Makurdi via public Transport. Took Okada from Wurukum park to State Secretariat.
“They took his sample and he went back to Zaki Biam via public transport.
“Yesterday, his result came back positive.
“They went to pick the man in his village in Ukum and the team was told the case went to Market.
They are still waiting for the man to close from Market as he has since not returned.”
