The Kano State High Court 17 has issued a permanent injunction prohibiting Aminu Ado Bayero and the four deposed Emirs of Bichi, Rano, Gaya, and Karaye from assuming the title of Emirs.
Presiding over the ruling on Monday, Justice Amina Adamu Aliyu also restrained the 15th Emir of Kano and the other Emirs, along with their associates, agents, and any appointees, from presenting themselves as Emirs of Kano, Bichi, Gaya, Rano, and Karaye.
According to Naija News, the Kano State government had initiated legal action seeking to prevent Emir Aminu Ado Bayero and the four other Emirs from using their titles.
Additionally, the Government mandated the deposed Emirs to vacate their respective palaces within 48 hours of their removal from office.
