BREAKING: Court grants ex-Kwara gov, Abdulfatah Ahmed bail

Justice Evelyn Anyadike of the Federal High Court, Ilorin, has granted bail to former Kwara State governor AbdulFatah Ahmed.

The conditions include a deposit of N50 million to the court and the provision of a surety with landed properties in Ilorin, among other requirements.

Ahmed is to remain in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) until these conditions are met.

Journalists are currently awaiting his departure from the court premises for further updates. More details to follow shortly.
