A Magistrate court sitting in Abuja has ordered the remand of Omoyele Sowore and four others at Kuje Correctional Centre.
Their formal bail application will be heard tomorrow, January 5, 2020
The development comes after the Federal Government on Monday, January 4, arraigned Sowore and four others before the Magistrate Court in Wuse Zone 2, for leading a protest against alleged bad governance on New Year’s Eve in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Reports indicate that Sowore and the other four persons are being arraigned on three charges which include criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and attempting to incite others.
They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
