BREAKING: Court rules on case between Suswam and Mimi Orubibi (See final judgment)

 

The National Assembly Election petition sitting in Makurdi, Benue State capital has upheld the election if Gabriel Suswam of the Peoples Democratic Party in the last election in Benue North east.

The defeated candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mimi Orubibi has approached the court seeking nullification of the election, citing rigging and irregularities.

However, in a unanimous verdict on Tuesday, the panel knocked off Orubibi’s case for lack of merit.

It said voter’s register, not card reader that can determine over voting.
