Chijioke Edeoga has been sacked by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja as the governorship candidate of the Labour Party for Enugu State in the 2023 general election.
Justice Evelyn Maha of Court 11, Federal High Court, dismissed the primary election that produced Edeoga as a hoax and ordered the party to conduct a fresh primary election within 14 days.
Edeoga and Capt. Evarest Nnaji, popularly known as Odengene, are on warpath over the rightful governorship candidate of the Labour Party since both men defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after the May 25, 2022 primary election.
