Dangote Petroleum Refinery has recently announced a decrease in the price of diesel, now priced at N1,000 per litre, down from N1,200.
According to a statement released by the refinery, just three weeks ago, diesel was supplied at the rate of N1,200 per litre, marking a substantial reduction of over 30% from the former market price of about N1,600 per litre.
The refinery further elaborated that this considerable reduction in diesel prices is anticipated to have a positive impact across all sectors of the economy, aiming to alleviate the country’s high inflation rates.
