The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) for marketers, cutting it from N990 per litre to N970 per litre.
Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of the Dangote Group, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, describing the move as a gesture of appreciation to Nigerians.
“As the year comes to an end, this is our way of thanking the good people of Nigeria for their unwavering support in making the refinery a reality,” Chiejina stated. “Additionally, we extend our gratitude to the government for their backing, as this price adjustment aligns with efforts to encourage domestic enterprise for our collective well-being.”
He assured that the refinery remains committed to maintaining high-quality standards for its petroleum products, emphasizing their environmental sustainability.
“We are determined to continue ramping up production to meet and exceed domestic fuel consumption needs, thereby dispelling fears of supply shortages,” Chiejina added.
