Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court, Abuja has fixed March 28, 2022 to rule on the bail application filed by the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari and his co-defendants.
Kyari, a suspended cop, is currently standing trial for drug peddling.
He was picked up by the NDLEA few weeks back.
The court slated the date after taking arguments of the defence and prosecution counsel on Monday.
Meanwhile, Justice Nwite has ordered that Abba Kyari and his co-defendants be further remanded in the detention facility of the NDLEA till March 28.
