Eight arrested while planning to attack Otukpo community on New Year Day (PHOTOS)

A group of young boys and a girl suspected to be cultists were arrested on the 31st of December, 2016 around the defunct Otukpo township stadium Edikwu in Otukpo, Benue State.
The boys were identified simply as Peter, Ekoja, Jeff, Emmanuel, shepherd and the only girl among them was named Dora.
Other suspects are still at large.

According to one of the suspects, they were invited to come there and plan an attack tomorrow by one man he identified as Pharaoh.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that they were arrested by the local vigilante in Igbanonmaje after residents of the area raised alarm when they spotted them having the meeting.

They were in position of weed and stickers believe to be cult affiliated.
