BREAKING: ESN strikes again, kill policemen in Anambra

Unidentified gunmen have again attacked a police Checkpoint in Omogho in Orumba North, of Anambra State, on Wednesday (22 February).

It was gathered that the hoodlums killed at least four policemen in the process.

The unknown gunmen were also said to have carted away with some AK47s and other arms belonging to the slayed officers.

Though the number of casualties was not immediately available, the attackers also set police patrol vans on fire and carted away arms.

According to eye witnesses, the gunmen who drove in Mercedes Benz 4Matic SUV, opened fire on the policemen who had been deployed on patrol in the area.

This is the 2nd attack today in Anambra. The first attack claimed the lives of two Police officers on duty.

The Anambra State Command is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filling this report.
