Five dead as bus plunges into Oji River in Enugu 24 hours to Xmas

No fewer than five persons have been confirmed dead after a commercial bus plunged into Oji River along the ever busy Enugu-Onitsha highway. 

The Sector Commander, Mr Sunday Ajayi, who confirmed the luciferious incident, said the accident occurred about 1:25 a.m. on Thursday, noting that there were 15 passengers on board the vehicle, out of which 10 were rescued and taken to hospital, while five were killed in the incident.
