The death has been announced of renowned engineer and former Executive Director Executive Director (Engr) Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority, Engr Mayas Adoyi.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that Engr Adoyi died on Friday after a protracted ailment.
The renowned philanthropist and community leader, in his lifetime, attracted monumental projects to his country home, Ugbugbu Owukpa.
He was instrumental in the construction of the bridge across the Awube River in Ugbugbu.
