Rt. Hon. Ghali Umar Na’Abba, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives is dead. Na’Abba, who served as the second Speaker in the current 4th Republic, breathed his last in the early hours of Wednesday at the age of 65.
The circumstances surrounding his demise; however, details remain elusive at this time.
Na’Abba, entered the House of Representatives in 1999 as a representative from Kano State.
He assumed the role of Speaker shortly after the House’s inauguration, succeeding Salisu Buhari from the same Kano State. Buhari had resigned amidst a certificate forgery scandal.
