Fr Adolphus Ikyuluke of Makurdi Catholic Diocese is dead

Father Adolphus Ikyuluke of the Catholic Diocese of Makurdi, Benue State is dead.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the priest died on Monday morning at Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.

Confirming the incident, Father Jude Ortese, CSSp, Chancellor of Makurdi Diocese, said funeral arrangements will be communicated later.

The statement read, “I write on behalf of the Bishop of Makurdi Diocese, Most Revd Wilfred Anagbe, CMF to announce to you the sad news of the death of one of our priests, Father Adolphus Ikyuluke.

“Father Ikuluke was born in 1963 and ordained to the Presbyterate of Makurdi Diocese on July 1, 1995. Until his death, he was the priest-in-charge of St. Joseph’s Quasi-Parish, Nyon.

“He died this morning, January 18, 2021 after a brief illness.

“May the soul of Father Adolphus and the souls of the faithful departed, rest in the Lord. Amen.”
