Government increases minimum wage for workers

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has increased the minimum wage for workers in the state from N40,000 to N70,000.

The governor made this announcement during the inauguration of the newly constructed ultra-modern Labour House secretariat complex for labor unions in the state. The complex is located along Temboga Road, Ikpoba-Hill, Benin City.
