There is currently panic among residents of Gyado Villa, a students dominated area of Makurdi, Benue State, as there is currently gun battle between suspected cult groups in the area.
A resident of the area said the gunshots started at about 11pm Friday night, thereby forcing students in the area to run for safety.
The resident it is unclear if there is any casualty.
