BREAKING: Herdsmen launch fresh attack on Emichi village in Otukpo

Several people are feared dead following a fresh attack on Emichi village in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

It was gathered that the attackers invaded the community around 2:00 pm on Wednesday, shooting indiscriminately at residents.

Terrified villagers reportedly fled in different directions as no security personnel were present to repel the attackers or restore order.

The incident comes less than 24 hours after 11 people were gruesomely killed in a similar attack on Otobi-Akpa by suspected herdsmen.
