BREAKING: Keep scoring, I’ll shut up – Mikel Obi replies Jackson

Former Chelsea and Nigerian international Mikel Obi has issued a sharp response to Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, telling him, “Keep scoring, and I’ll shut up.”

This comment comes after recent tensions between the two, with Obi’s statement likely to stir further debate.

Obi made the remark on his Monday podcast, The Obi One.

It was earlier reported that Mikel, 37, criticized Jackson’s finishing during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend while speaking on beIN Sport.

“We created chances, but we haven’t taken them. Just look at how Jackson finishes,” Mikel said.

In response, the Senegalese striker fired back in an Instagram post, saying, “Mikel Obi, shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we are killing ourselves for Africa.”
