Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Kwankwaso will on Wednesday pitch his tent with the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
One of his associates made the confirmation to DAILY POST on Tuesday.
“I can inform you that he is heading to the NNPP. His letter of resignation from the PDP was delivered to his ward in Kano today.”
Asked when the public should expect Kwankwaso’s announcement, the source replied: “No statement yet.”
“But His Excellency will appear at the NNPP national convention tomorrow in Abuja”, he added.
