Several persons have been feared killed after suspected herdsmen launched an attack on Oshigbudu community in Agatu LGA of Benue State.
The attackers, IDOMA VOICE gathered happened Thursday evening.
Former Vice Chairman of the local government, John Ikwuolono, who confirmed the incident called on the Military, Police, Paramilitary and other security agencies to take note and swing into action.
He said, “I have contacted the necessary authorities including the Council Chairman, DPO Agatu and others.”
Similarly, a media aide to the state governor, Olikita Ekani confirmed the deadly attack.
He wrote on Facebook, “SUSPECTED FULANI HERDSMEN ARE CURRENTLY ATTACKING ATAKPA COMMUNITY IN OSHIGBUDU COUNCIL WARD OF AGATU LGA!
