A Staff of Jesus College Otukpo, Mr Ochoche Ikyatum has lost 3 out of 4 of his children and his apartment, belongings to a mysterious fire outbreak which occurred in the early hours of Friday 17 December, 2021.
A source told IDOMA VOICE that “the fire first gutted the children’s room, and before the parents could reach out to them and seek for help, the children were burnt to death already.
“Only the house help who escaped from the room survived. Mr. Ochoche and wife lost practically every property and belonging to the fire except for their son who is in another school. ”
IDOMA VOICE further gathered that the deceased children were buried in around 4am in their village in Upu immediately.
