The Nigerian naira continued its upward trend at the official market, trading at N1,262.85 to a dollar on Wednesday.
According to data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ, the naira experienced a gain of N15.73, marking a significant 1.23 per cent appreciation compared to Tuesday’s trading rate of N1,278.58 to a dollar.
The total turnover also saw an increase, reaching $166.18 million on Wednesday, up from the $111.18 million recorded on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, at the Investor’s and Exporters’ (I&E) window, the naira was observed trading within the range of N1,296 and N1,210 against the dollar.
