The National Assembly has passed a N13.588 trillion 2021 budget.
The development brings about an increment by N505 billion earlier proposed by the executive.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had on October 8 presented the proposed 2021 Budget of N13 trillion to a joint session of the National Assembly.
The President, who tagged the 2021 budget ‘The Budget of Economic Recovery and Resilience’ stated that despite the challenges, his Government has delivered on key polices, programmes and projects.
Buhari revealed that the main core of the 2021 budget is to complete as many ongoing projects as possible, while giving priority to the ones that most affect the people.
