Operatives of the FCT Police Command have arrested some members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This comes as Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Biafra agitators is to be arraigned in court today, July 26, 2021.
The IPOB members, two of them dressed in Jewish apparel, were said to be singing slogans in support of Kanu and demanding his freedom.
It was earlier reported that a security alert was issued ahead of Kanu’s trial as available intel suggested that IPOB members were planning to stage a demonstration for the release of their leader.
