The death of Mr. Emeka Ogbu, President of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA), has been confirmed by Prof. Mohammed Bawa, the Acting President of the association. The announcement was made to reporters on Wednesday in Jos.
According to Bawa, Ogbu passed away on Monday following a brief illness. Mr. Emeka Ogbu, who held the position of Director of Sports at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), was elected as the President of NUGA in March 2022.
