The Lagos State Police Command has taken into custody the nurse who provided medical treatment to the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, prior to his demise.
The disclosure came from Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who visited the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, and shared the update on Mohbad’s police investigation via her Instagram page on Wednesday night.
During her update to fans, Ojo mentioned that the police had also made additional arrests in connection with Mohbad’s death.
She stated, “The police have made some arrests [in connection with Mohbad’s death]. The nurse has been arrested. That I know. That’s the only information I can give you right now. They have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”
It is worth noting that Mohbad’s father, James Aloba, expressed suspicions in an interview, suggesting that the auxiliary nurse who administered an injection to Mohbad before his death might have contributed to his son’s deteriorating health.
