BREAKING: Ogbadibo LG Chairman under fire, council members pass vote of no confidence on him

Report reaching IDOMAVOICE.COM from Otukpa, the headquarters of Ogbadibo LGA government area of Benue state has it that the crisis currently rocking the local council has worsen as council members have passed vote of no confidence on the Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Paul Adoyi.

A reliable insider told this newspaper that very early on Friday, members of the council converged at the secretariat to stop the chairman from further piloting the affairs of the local council over issues bothering on incompetence and misappropriation.

At the moment, there are moves to replace the chairman with his deputy.  

Lately, the chairman was accused of embezzling N12m from the council treasury, when when this newspaper contacted, he denied the hearsay, saying hat some persons were only out to tarnish his hard-earned name and reputation.

Efforts to reach the embattled chairman for comment could not yield at fruit at the moment.
