Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Ado Ibrahim, is dead.
He died in the early hours of Sunday following a brief illness.
The late monarch, aged 95, will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions.
Ado Ibrahim ascended to the throne of the Ohinoyi of Ebira land in 1997, succeeding his predecessor, Alhaji Sanni Omolorim, who had reigned from 1957 to 1997.
Born on February 7, 1929, Ado Ibrahim received education from both Western nursery schools and Quranic institutions. He completed his primary education in 1940 at the Native Authority (NA) primary school in Okene, Northern Region (now Kogi State).
