Former Chief of Staff to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State Terwase Orbunde has joined the New Nigeria’s Peoples Party, NNPP.
Orbunde dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for All Progressives Congress, APC, after failing to clinch the party’s governorship ticket, IDOMA VOICE reports.
Orbunde also lost the APC guber ticket to Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia.
Following the development, Orbunde has now dumped his governorship ambition and has not obtained NNPP senatorial nomination form for Benue North East Senatorial.
Ormbude would now battle Senator Gabriel Suswam from the senatorial seat.
