Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has nominated his former Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Terver Akase, and one other as Special Advisers.
Ortom had written the Benue State House of Assembly seeking the approval of the duo as his SAs.
Consequently, the State House of Assembly has granted approval for Governor Ortom’s request.
Akase has also confirmed the appointment to IDOMA VOICE in a chat on Thursday evening.
It was gathered that the House gave the approval during Wednesday’s plenary following a request in a correspondence from the Governor signed by the secretary to the state government, Prof. Anthony Ijohor SAN and read by the speaker, Rt. Hon. Titus Uba.
The approval, therefore, brings the total number of the Special Advisers to 32.
