Senator Monday Okpebholo has clinched victory in the Edo All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election.
The announcement was made by Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River, who chaired the Edo APC shadow poll, following the collation of results from all 18 local government areas.
Okpebholo secured a commanding 12,433 votes, decisively defeating Dennis Idahosa, who trailed with 6,541 votes.
