Otukpo market fire: DPO allegedly shot as Police arrest four suspected looters

No fewer than four residents of Otukpo-Icho community have been arrested for allegedly looting shop owners during the recent fire outbreak in the area.

A source disclosed to IDOMA VOICE that 3 males and a female were in the early hours of Tuesday raided for selling and buying items believed to have been stolen during the inferno.

“The Police came for certain persons and arrested about four of them. In the process, they reportedly injured the DPO,” the source said.

Meanwhile, the DPO is said to be receiving treatment at the Royal Specialist Hospital, Otukpo.
