No fewer than 10 soldiers and policemen have reportedly gunned down at different locations in Anambra State.
According to Daily Post, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon, sources said.
The paper reports that while the policemen were killed in Neni, Anaocha Local Government Area in a checkpoint, the soldiers were killed at an outpost in Awkuzu, Oyi Local Government Area, both of Anambra State.
The gunmen also set ablaze a police van in Neni, while carting away arms belonging to the felled policemen, while in Akuzu, the felled soldiers also lost their arms to the unknown gunmen.
The police in the state said they were trailing the killers.
