BREAKING: Over 20 farmers killed as herdsmen strike in Kwande, Benue State

No fewer than 20 farmers have been feared killed after suspected herdsmen attacked Waya, Jato-Aka, Turan community in Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State.

It was gathered that the heavily armed herders attacked the community Thursday night.

A member of the community, Lawrence Akerigba, told newsmen that as many as ten corpses of victims of the attack have been recovered so far.

He identified those killed as: Gbaeren Orsoo, Terdoo Tsega, Bemdoo Tsega, Abacha Tsega, Terkaa Tsega, Aôndoaseer Tyov, Iorhen Atim and Aôndowase Igba.
