BREAKING: Patience Umo Eno, First Lady Of Akwa Ibom Is Dead

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the heartbreaking news of the death of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, the wife of Governor Umo Eno.

In a statement released early Friday morning, the state’s Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, revealed that the First Lady passed away due to an undisclosed illness.

Ememobong’s statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” expressed deep sorrow: “It is with heavy hearts that we (the Akwa Ibom Government) announce the passing of Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, following an illness. She peacefully departed at the hospital on September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family.”

The family has accepted the will of the Almighty and requests prayers and support from the public during this difficult time. They also ask for privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Governor Umo Eno expressed gratitude to all who have supported the family and assured citizens that, despite this profound personal loss, his commitment to serving the state remains steadfast.
